Find out more about our insert grades PR1725/PR1705 for steel, stainless steel and free-cutting steel. Great solution for machining in different workpieces with an excellent surface finish and long tool life. The unique design of Kyocera’s PVD coating MEGACOAT NANO PLUS also provides superior wear, chipping resistance and high machining stability.
For small parts machining we recommend utilizing PR1725 and PR1705 with the SKS/SK molded sharp edge chipbreaker series – the first recommendation for finishing and semi-finishing. The molded chipbreaker series shows great chip control and stable chip evacuation for best machining results.
