UM First™ DP hogger

Developed for sizing of board materials on double end tenoners as double climb feed hoggers.

Unique cutting quality 

Its unique cutting geometry suits material thickness from 12 to 60 mm and ensure minimum chip pressure. 

Reduced chip pressure

The reduced chip pressure against the edge gives a significantly improved finish because the surface of the material is supported optimally by the board.

Minimum fiber raise 

Thanks to minimum fiber raise and tear out, the result is improved quality and more exclusively products.

Finer finish on the workpiece

Since the UM First DP hogger has both positive and negative cutting angle, machining results in a more gentle operation. Achieve an optimised finish on the workpiece along with a considerably improved and controlled chip flow.
